At The Sixth Form, we’re proud of our extensive offer of Expressive Arts courses and the facilities and opportunities that we can provide students.
Teachers are practitioners and examiners: All the teachers in this department are working artists / designers and the Head of Department is the Credible Specialist for Graphic Design and an external moderator for A Level.
Specialist studios and equipment: Studio access is available 5 days a week from 8.30am till 5.00pm. All 3 studios are purpose built with specialist printing, photography and design equipment. There is up to date photography equipment to borrow and loan as well as industry standard software such as Adobe Creative Cloud.
Exhibitions and Work Experience: All students exhibit regularly both within College and in and around Bolton. Students run their own makers art and design stall in Bolton Market: they make, design, produce all their own products, price and sell their work – all profit is kept by the students.
