The majority of students will now secure their places at universities across the country, progressing to study a broad range of subjects encompassing: sciences, medicine, law, business, music, arts, sports and humanities. Although increasingly many students now choose to move on to Higher and Degree Apprenticeships with several students securing places with prestigious companies across the UK. Principal, Stuart Merrills, said: “I would like to acknowledge and applaud all our students receiving their results today. We are immensely proud of their achievements, as they carry on the tradition of The Sixth Form’s record for excellent student achievement and onward progression. This year’s results are a testament to the hard work of our students alongside our experienced and dedicated teachers and support staff. Students are very pleased to have achieved the grades they need to progress onto their desired destination.” We would like to wish them all the very best for the future and to thank them for their excellent contribution to The Sixth Form in maintaining our position as a nationally high achieving Sixth Form College.” The Principal, senior leadership and staff look forward to its new cohort in September and continued success.
