Sixth Form Bolton Students Partner with National Digital & Web Agency, Lazarus Web

Students from The Sixth Form Bolton have been given an exciting opportunity to work with the successful digital marketing and web development company Lazarus Web.

Lazarus Web works with service-based businesses across the UK to create efficient websites and strengthen their online presence. Founder and Lead Strategist Kasam Khan began collaborating with The Sixth Form after connecting with Zahid Razzak, Head of Computing and IT. As a Bolton local, Kasam was keen to give something back to the community.

Kasam will be working closely with the Computer Science and IT department to develop a live brief for students. A live brief is a real-world project or business challenge set by an external organisation, giving students practical, hands-on experience beyond classroom theory.

For this brief, students are tasked with designing a website that meets a fictional client’s requirements. They must produce two contrasting design concepts, professionally justify their design and content decisions, and work collaboratively in pairs. Students will present their final work to Kasam for feedback.

Zahid Razzak expressed his appreciation for Kasam’s support and willingness to share his industry expertise with students, saying:

"Lazarus Web and Kasam Khan are offering our students the experience to hone their skills on a real live project.  This will not only shape their understanding of meeting deadlines for real clients, but also sharpen their communication, teamwork, and web development abilities.  I am grateful to have such a willing industry partner who is giving a lot of time and experience to our students.
