The Sixth Form Bolton Careers programme

Our aim is to ensure all students leave The Sixth Form well-equipped for the next step on their career journey.

Every student is offered an individualised package of support, including: impartial advice and guidance; opportunities for work experience; employability skills via the Professional Growth Programme and direct support from a range of universities.

Our careers provision enables students to:

Identify their strengths and skills
Explore progression pathways
Acquire the skills that employers are looking for
Make informed choices about their futures
Research degree programmes
Identify appropriate universities
Make successful applications for apprenticeships, employment and further training

How to Book a Careers Appointment with the B6 Careers Team:

You can find the B6 Careers Team in the Career Pod, which is located on the ground floor of The Sixth Form. Students can arrange a 1:1 career guidance appointment by booking their own appointment through our electronic bookings system which can be found here. Students will need to log into their College office 365 account in order to book.

External Careers Support:

B6 Careers will continue to offer careers support to students for the first 12 months after they leave The Sixth Form.
